Performance Training Center

Program Overview

The Oak Ridge High School Foundation Performance Training Center Strength and Conditioning Program is a year round holistic approach to developing the speed, power and agility of all student athletes at Oak Ridge. Utilizing a combination of corrective exercises, conditioning drills, weight training exercises and nutritional awareness, the program aims to enable Oak Ridge student athletes to perform at higher competitive levels while avoiding injuries. The program is run by a team of strength and conditioning specialists from Vince Mini’s House of Pain, a leading Northern California sports conditioning facility. In addition to a focus on physical conditioning, speed and agility, the program also stresses the value of a solid education and reinforces the need for each participant to maintain good academic standing in all their classes.

The PTC is now offering a 10% discount off the monthly rate for siblings currently living in the same household. The 1st child is the full price and the 10% discount is offered for each subsequent sibling. The Family Discount must be requested and set-up by a staff member.

Send an email to once your account is set up on Front Desk requesting the “Family Discount” and include your children’s names. Once your discount has been set-up, you will receive an invoice (including the discount) sent to your inbox and you can then complete your payment in Front Desk

To utilize the ORHS Community Foundation Performance Training Center (PTC) each student athlete must register by setting up an account on our program management system called Front Desk. With Front Desk you can sign in from your computer or a mobile device to manage all your account details. Account management includes scheduling, billing, electronic liability waiver signage, placing your account on hold and more. The PTC is equipped with two Front Desk sign-in kiosks for athletes to check-in prior to each workout. Athletes will sign-in using their phone number, email, or by scanning a Quick Response (QR) code from their mobile device.

Steps to Register with Front Desk:

1. Create an Account

Go to and create an account (Parents must be the account manager  of their children). Complete all the forms beginning with parent information and then dependent information. Your child will use his phone number or email on the dependent form to check into the kiosk.

2. Confirm your account

You’ll receive a welcome email with a link Go To My Account. Access the link and log into FrontDesk. Your account is now confirmed

3. Sign Our Waiver

Go to your dashboard (Parents) by clicking my stuff and under important information click on sign waiver. The guardian waiver will be sent to you as a Docusign via email or you can sign online. Please review and sign. Unfortunately, a new waiver must be signed and received even if you submitted a paper waiver previously.

4. Purchase the monthly pass

Under Plans and Passes click on the box Monthly Pass with description. Choose whom the pass is for in the drop down button and add to your cart. Complete the secure checkout process. We accept Visa, MasterCard or Discover.

Once these steps are completed, the athlete is ready to begin signing into the Front Desk kiosk at the PTC prior to each workout.

Open Gym

Beginning June 1, 2015 coaches that assemble 12 or more athletes to work out together will have set scheduled days and times in the PTC determined by that team’s coach and the athletic director. All remaining openings will be posted online through the Front Desk system for individuals to reserve a spot as their schedule allows. Coaches encourage working out with a team but it IS NOT required. We realize the student/athlete’s schedule is very hectic with practices, lessons, homework and other activities, which is why we are implementing the “Open Gym” concept. All operating hours of the PTC, whether scheduled team workouts or “Open Gym” times are still under the guidance of Vince Mini and his team of certified personal trainers that have been contracted by the Oak Ridge Foundation.
