Completed Projects - Where has your money gone?
Quad Reconstruction - The first funded and completed project of the Foundation, completed summer of 2001, cost $60,000.
Home Side Bleachers - A jointly funded project between the Oak Ridge Sports Boosters, the Foundation and the El Dorado Union High School District. Total cost of project $650,000. The Foundation acted a project manager and funded $225,000 of the project which was completed in May 2003.
Scoreboard - This project was bought and installed Summer 2004. Cost of the project $98,000 which was fully funded by the Foundation.
All Weather Track - This project was fully funded by the Foundation and installed in 2005. The total cost of the project was $300,000.
Perimeter Fencing & Ticket Booths - The cost of this project, fully funded by the Foundation, with support from the El Dorado Hills Rotary Club, was $45,000. Installed in 2005 and 2006.
Fence Upgrade & Paving Project / Preferred Parking- In 2008, the fence was raised and paving installed on the home side improving safety and the looks, keeping gravel off the track. The cost of the project was $53,000.
Scholarships - To date the Foundation has awarded $5,520 in scholarships to Oak Ridge Seniors.
Teacher Grants - In 2009 the Foundation awarded its first Teacher Grants totaling $4,720. The ORHSCF Excellence in Teaching Grant Program is a tool offered to the teaching professionals at ORHS to supplement classroom funding.
Various Fundraising Efforts - Annual Ewaste Drive, Austin Collie Football Fundraiser, fully funded the inflatable football helmet at a cost of $3,000. The Foundation has monetarily supported various groups such as the Robotics Team, Speech and Debate Team, Interact Club for Rebuilding Sacramento, the New York Creek Outdoor Education area, Boys and Girls Golf Teams and various sports teams acting as servers during the football games.
Synthetic Field Turf - In 2008, the Foundation worked closely with the School District for the passage of Measure Q. The proceeds for this bond funded the synthetic field turf among other District Facilities needs. The Foundation made a $10,000 contribution towards the campaign.
Restroom/Concession Stand - Our newest project is outfitting the interior portion of the new Restroom/Concession Stand. The Foundation will fully fund this project at a cost of $100,000.
